Maryvonne Le Deist has never been drawn towards abstraction because, for her, landscapes and objects give a tender quality to life. She loves light and only represents true life. It is the reason why nature is present in all her works. She is inspired to paints by the sun of Catalonia, Brittany, Corsica, Mauritius or Guatemala.
