​Pour mes sculpture, je ne cherche pas la beauté qui serait trop fade. Je cherche la force, l'émotion...

J'oublie l'anatomie car la poésie est dans l'imperfection. Savoir s'arrêter à temps pour ne pas gâcher la sculpture demande de la vigilance.

La terre chamottée, par son grain, m'aide à laisser la sculpture à l'état rugueux et j'aimerais la laisser plus inachevée encore.

La vie n'est pas dans la surface du corps elle est à l'intérieur.

Il est donc inutile le lisser, de "fignoler" ses sculptures, ce qui détourne de la vie.

L'invisible physique aide à traduire le visible spirituel.

I don't focus on anatomy because there is poetry in imperfection. Knowing when to stop in order to avoid spoiling the sculpture demands vigilance.

The grain of chamotte clay helps me to maintain a course finish. I would evern like to enhance this "incomplete" look further.

The essence of life is not found on the body's surface but deep inside.

It would be futile to smooth and refine the life out of my work.

The absence of a detailed physique makes the spirit more visible.
